I want to assume that the marina is not open to it's members since my inquiry regarding my boat being docked their was met with the response of, "well, we have to wait for all the "REGULARS" before we allow any new boats to PAY for a slot. At first, I thought I heard wrong, but upon asking for that statement to be repeated, much to my dismay, I heard correctly the first time. I wanted to pay for a slip and was denied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had I not been at work I wouldn't have just let that go. Now as time goes on and I continue to write my monthly COMMUNITY FEE I become more and more infuriated over that conversation. It is UNACCEPTABLE. On the brighter side, I found someone right around the corner that will let me rent their slip for $50 a month. God works in mysterious ways.
PS. The secretary was rude. I pay for more. Anyone else paying for rejection and preferrential treatment? |
